Marques de Caceres Reservas are produced only in the finest vintages from "vieilles vignes" that give more concentration and, therefore, greater aging potential/ The intensity of fruit and richness of Reserva wine are unsurpassed in Rioja. Made from a special selection of Tempranillo grapes, these are aged in French oak casks. Uncork one hour before serving at 60-65F, with hearty dishes, roasts and grilled meats.

The 2014 Marques de Caceres Rioja Reserva begins with a classic Rioja bouquet with tons of oak influence (loads of vanilla, sweet spice, hints of coffee and cocoa) wrapped around the deep dark berry fruit. The wine tastes savory, grippy and delicious. All the flavors from the nose combine seamlessly in the mouth of this medium to full-bodied wine. Firm tannins lead into the dry, grippy finish. The fruit flavors linger nicely with touches of tobacco, coffee, cocoa and a little balsamic. This is excellent stuff and a classic example of a Rioja Reserva!
