From the bottle:

Mionetto celebrates its 130 years of history with “Cuvée Anniversario 1887–2017”, a symbol of a long winemaking tradition and the unique Mionetto style. The grapes of this ‘brut nature’ cuvée are hand-harvested in the vineyards of Valdobbiadene DOCG region. The grapes are gently pressed and the wine rests on the lees for up to 3-4 months. Available in this special packaging of only 10,000 bottles, it is fruity and elegant with a long lasting finish.

The 2016 Mionetto Cuvée Anniversario 1887–2017 Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG Millesimato Brut Nature begins with a very pleasing aroma of apple, citrus, pear, white flowers and just a hint of freshly baked bread. Taking a sip reveals a crisp, delightful wine that is very easy to drink. This one cranks it up a notch and we love the “brut nature” nature of it with little to no sugar. Add in lively acidity and lovely bubbles and this is definitely a worthwhile special edition. It ends crisp and refreshing.
