From the bottle:
Unanime, from the Latin “Unanimis” refers to a group of people sharing the same opinions or views; being in complete harmony or accord. This simple word summarizes this special project: When we were finishing the harvest 2005, both our Winemakers and Agronomists agreed that it was the time to start crafting a superior red blend, a “Gran Vino Tinto”.
We wanted to reflect the great wines Argentina can offer when exceptional climate and passionate people come together in harmony.
This blend is made by 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Malbec and 15% Cabernet Franc. All the grapes were grown in selected old vineyards from the Uco Valley, in Mendoza. Deep cherry-red in colour, Unanime stands out for the intensity of its fruit flavours and its aromatic complexity. Its long ageing in French oak for 20 months shines elegant aromas of tobacco and chocolate, along with a touch of black pepper and some fleshy notes. This wine will continue to age nicely for years to come.

The 2018 Mascota Vineyards Unanime Gran Vino Tinto begins with loads of dark fruit and spice on the nose plus licorice and other touches like cedar, chocolate, tobacco and vanilla. It’s a nice start.
Taking a sip reveals a juicy, dark and tasty wine with plenty of tannins. Smooth and full-bodied, it also has great depth of flavor.
It ends dry and long and was similar on day 2.
