The 2012 Snoqualmie Merlot begins with tons of rich, deep, ripe blackberry notes that jump out of the glass and grab you! Add in a little vanilla and spice and you've certainly got a promising beginning on an $8 wine. Tasting doesn't disappoint either with lots more dark berry fruit and the spice and vanilla from the nose turning it up a notch. You'll also find smooth, soft tannins in this delicious Merlot. This fun to drink wine ends dry with lots of lingering oaky notes and more blackberry jam. Stock up!
