The 2019 Urgency Pinot Noir opens with a pleasing aroma of black cherry, wild strawberries, earth, spice, cola, dried herbs and a touch of rhubarb. It's definitely a good start.
Tasting the wine reveals slightly sweet black cherry fruit plus some nice earthy notes. Like we mentioned above this one is more in the style of Meiomi (although not that sweet) than it is a classic Pinot. All the other flavors from the nose make an appearance in the mouth as well. It may lack a bit of complexity compared to pricier Pinot, but it sure is easy to drink.
It ends dry, a bit juicy and long. This is a guaranteed crowd-pleaser.
