Welcome to this week's wrap-up! The big news this week was a new Top 10 White and Rosé list. There are several new (and delicious) wines on this month's list so be sure to check it out while the weather is still warm.
Also this week we hit on a topic that many wine buyers are not even aware of, and that is how much Cabernet is actually in your Cabernet? (Or Merlot, or Syrah, or whatever.) In the U.S. labeling laws only require a wine to contain 75% of one variety to be labeled as that variety. This means your Pinot Noir may actually be only 75% Pinot Noir and have 25% of other varieties. The better wineries usually disclose this info on the label, but many do not. Does this bother you? Sound off on The Reverse Wine Snob Facebook page.
