7 Moons Red Blend - Full of Flavor

By: Jon Thorsen Published: May 25, 2017 Last Updated: May 30, 2021

The smooth, soft and sweet 7 Moons Red Blend.

7 Moons Red Blend - Full of Flavor

A blend of Syrah, Merlot, Petite Sirah, Zinfandel, Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec and Grenache from vineyards in Lodi and the Central Coast of California.

Sample submitted for review. This wine has an SRP of $16.

    From the bottle:

7 Moons Red Blend celebrates the phases of the moon by combining seven grape varietals into a smooth, fruity, easy to drink wine. Uncork a bottle, pour a glass, and find connection in the moonlight.

    13.5% Alcohol

The 2015 7 Moons Red Blend begins with loads of lots of ripe, dark fruit aromas that are laced with chocolate and vanilla overtones. The wine tastes smooth, soft and sweet and is filled with tons of jammy, ripe fruit. Those chocolate and vanilla streaks from the nose also continue when tasting and add to the mass appeal and crowd-pleasing properties of the wine. On the finish the tart, jammy, sweet fruit lingers for a good amount of time. This is a great choice for fans of the ever popular mass-market slightly-sweet (and often covered by lots of oak influence) red blend.
