Aime Roquesante Cotes de Provence Rosé - Tantalizing

By: Jon Thorsen Published: May 18, 2016 Last Updated: May 31, 2021

From the bottle to what's inside, the Aime Roquesante Cotes de Provence Rosé is pleasing to the senses.

Aime Roquesante Cotes de Provence Rosé - Tantalizing

A blend of Cinsault, Grenache and Syrah from Cotes de Provence, France.

This rosé has an SRP of $15. Imported by Luneau USA. Sample submitted for review.

    From the winery:

Color: salmon with pronounced rose shades.
Nose: powerful, with aromas of red fruits and cut grass.
Palate: full and powerful with a pleasing acidity.

The combination of an ultra-modern winery and traditional winemaking technique ensures perfect quality control and preserves the authentic character.

    13% Alcohol

The 2015 Aime Roquesante Cotes de Provence Rosé begins with a pleasant aroma of peach, strawberry and a little cherry and watermelon. Taking a sip reveals that this is one tasty Provence rosé. With lots of strawberry, some tart citrus and nice touches of peach this is a light, refreshing drink. Good, bright acidity offsets all the fruit quite capably and a smooth and slightly creamy mouthfeel rounds things out. It ends dry with lingering tart fruit and just a hint of garrigue (dried herbs) on the finish. If you're a visual shopper and you buy this one for bottle you certainly won't be disappointed by the wine inside either.
