An eye-opening splurge from Texas, the Brennan Vineyards Reserve Graciano.
100% Graciano from the Lahey Vineyard in the Texas High Plains. The wine has zero residual sugar and was aged for 18 months in a combination of French and American oak.
Sample submitted for review. The wine has an SRP of $46 (Saturday Splurge) and is pretty much only available through the winery but you can check for other retailers here. Just 211 cases were produced.
This one is pushing the limits of our Saturday Splurge category at $46 but when you find something this unique and delicious sometimes it's worth the cost.
Sophisticated wine with Texas roots.
In keeping with our motto, Brennan Vineyards and our acclaimed winemaker, Todd Webster, strive to produce world class, sophisticated wines from grapes grown in our vineyards as well as other areas of the "Lone Star State."
Our 2018 Reserve Graciano is the first of its kind for Brennan Vineyards and arguably our boldest wine to go to bottle. For our steak aficionados this wine will pair excellently.

The 2018 Brennan Vineyards Reserve Graciano begins with aromas of dark berry fruit, black pepper, a little baking spice and a hint of mint. It's very nice but things get taken to the next level upon taking that first sip.
When you do, you're greeted with lovely, savory, bold, dense and delicious dark berry fruit goodness. This is from Texas?? I absolutely love it. You don't see single varietal bottlings of this grape very often but wow this is the real deal. With wonderful touches of spice, tons of flavor and no sugar this is fantastic.
The wine ends dry, very long and slightly chewy on the lip-smackingly good finish. This is pure decadence.
