Butler Pond Pinot Noir – Party Pinot!

Last Updated on May 19, 2021

Surprisingly solid for $6. Respectable Pinot under $10 is quite a feat but Trader Joe’s delivers with the Butler Pond Pinot Noir.

Butler Pond Pinot Noir - Party Pinot!

Pinot Noir from California.

The Butler Pond Pinot Noir is available exclusively at Trader Joe’s for just $5.99.

From the bottle:

Vinted & Bottled by Butler Pond
13.5% Alcohol

Not a lot of info available on this one, but drinkable Pinot Noir for only $6 certainly gets our attention. Let’s check it out…

The 2017 Butler Pond Pinot Noir begins with a pleasing aroma of cherry, licorice, strawberry, and a touch of bubble gum.

Taking a sip reveals smooth, similar flavors to the nose plus nicely integrated spice and cola. This one is super easy to drink. It really doesn’t have any complexity at all but it goes down so easy that it still has a lot of appeal. It holds up pretty well on day 2 if you don’t finish the bottle.

It ends dry with a medium length finish. This is what we call Party Pinot! Cheap enough to serve to a large crowd and it will make everyone happy.
