Chateau Ste Michelle Indian Wells Cabernet Sauvignon - Consistently Good

By: Jon Thorsen Published: June 1, 2021 Last Updated: June 10, 2021

Vanilla-soaked Cab goodness! Available at Costco, the Chateau Ste Michelle Indian Wells Cabernet Sauvignon from the Columbia Valley, Washington.

Chateau Ste Michelle Indian Wells Cabernet Sauvignon - Consistently Good

89% Cabernet Sauvignon and 11% Syrah from the Cold Creek Vineyard (20%) and the Wahluke Slope (19%) with the balance mostly coming from vineyards in Horse Heaven Hills, Washington. The wine spends 19 months in 29% new American oak and 6% new French oak and has 4 g/L of residual sugar.

Sample submitted for review. The Chateau Ste Michelle Indian Wells Cabernet Sauvignon has an SRP of $20 but is available for as low as $12, including at Costco. No Costco? You can check your local retailer pricing here.

    From the bottle:

Sourced from warm vineyard sites, Indian Wells wines showcase a signature fruit-forward, mouth-filling style. Intensely ripe and boldly flavored, this Cabernet is decadent and fruit driven with a lush texture and concentrated blackberry and black cherry flavors.

Cellared & Bottled by Chateau Ste. Michelle
    14.5% Alcohol

The 2017 Chateau Ste Michelle Indian Wells Cabernet Sauvignon begins with a fabulous aroma full of ripe berries along with plenty of spice, licorice, vanilla and more.

Taking a sip reveals smooth, vanilla-soaked Cab goodness. It also features plenty of delicious secondary notes of spice, herbs, chocolate and more. If you enjoy really well done oak influence in your Cab, this wine is for you.

It ends dry, long and a bit grippy and it was just as good on day 2. This is really delicious stuff and consistently good every year!

Ready to buy? Check your local retailers.
