Last Updated on May 23, 2021

A solid six dollar Riesling from Aldi for those that like them on the sweeter side, the Crestwood Barrel Riesling.

Crestwood Barrel Riesling - Sweet and Simple

Riesling from Columbia Valley, Washington.

The Crestwood Barrel Riesling is available for just $5.99 exclusively at Aldi.

From the bottle:

Our Riesling combines artisan winemaking and the best Columbia Valley vineyards of Washington State to create a world-class wine of outstanding quality and value. It opens with aromas of honeysuckle and nectarine, leading to notes of honey and orange blossom on the palate and a clean finish with balanced, incorporated acidity. Enjoy with poultry, seafood and spicy cuisine or simply enjoy for the wine that it is: pure, sweet indulgence. Best served chilled.

12% Alcohol

The 2018 Crestwood Barrel Riesling begins with a pleasant aroma full of pear and apple plus a little orange blossom, lime, lemon cream and tropical fruit. Taking a sip reveals a nice, smooth, viscous mouthfeel and lots of sweet, honey-soaked fruit similar to the nose. This is a simple one but quite refreshing and tasty. It ends with lingering sweet tropical fruit notes on the finish. This is a solid Riesling for those that like them on the sweeter side, especially at this low price.
