By intentionally, welding the components harmoniously, crossbow-makers ensured exceptional effectiveness and apparent artistry. Similarly, the craftsmanship gone into the creation of the wine are evident.
With grapes picked at peak ripeness, aged in the best barrels, and blended for perfection, you can expect an exceptional bottle of wine.
This Zinfandel has aromas of red fruit, cracked black pepper, and plum on the nose. The palate resonates with black cherry, vanilla, grape jam, and peppercorn. This juicy Zin will make you yearn for more.

The 2019 Crossbow High Valley Zinfandel opens with a very enticing aroma of black cherry, plum and black pepper with touches of brambly blackberry, licorice, vanilla, leather and assorted spices. It's a great start.
The wine tastes rich and savory yet is still elegant and harmonious with just the right amount of oak influence. It's definitely not short on flavor but it's also not a big over-the-top version of Zin. Very well balanced, it features similar flavors to the nose with juicy fruit in the mouth, wrapped up in a smooth mouthfeel.
Fine, firm tannins lead into the long, a bit chewy and dry finish featuring lasting fruit with well-integrated touches of black pepper and spice. It was similar on day 2. Excellent!
