The 2020 Domane Wachau Gruner Veltliner Federspiel Terrassen begins with a very pleasant aroma of green apple, lemon and a little tropical fruit.
The wine tastes juicy and flavorful in the mouth with lively acidity and even a bit of a spicy streak. I love that it only has 1 g/L of residual sugar but plenty of flavor. Speaking of those flavors, they are similar to the nose with the lemon leading the way in the mouth. This is nicely balanced and just plain yummy!
It ends with a lovely, lingering, lip-smacking finish full of lemon and salty minerality. Absolutely delicious.
