Our ancestors used to say "September makes or breaks the vintage". Septembre was born from Burgundy's terroirs, during the month of harvest. This Pinot Noir hails from selected plots and features notes of red and black berries finishing with fullness and freshness. Enjoy at 60F.

The 2019 Edouard Delaunay Septembre Pinot Noir opens with an attractive and intriguing aroma of cherry and black cherry, plus lots of subtle yet lovely baking spice and bay leaves notes along with touches of cedar and a bit of a candied nutty note.
Taking a sip reveals a fresh, balanced and tasty wine with wonderful spice notes coming out on the mid-palate and leading into the finish. Featuring a smooth mouthfeel and similar fruit to the nose and good depth this is just a really nice all-around Pinot Noir at a great price for Burgundy. It paired wonderfully with our lemon chicken and roasted tomato pasta salad.
It ends dry and quite long with hints of minerality and earth under the fruit and was just as good on day two.
