With bright fruit flavors, a plush mouthfeel and delightfully dry finish, this Fallen Bridge Petite Sirah is perfect paired alongside grilled meat, hearty soups or simply enjoyed on its own.

The 2017 Fallen Bridge Petite Sirah begins with a pleasing aroma of dark fruit, vanilla, cola and licorice.
The somewhat tannic wine tastes similar to the nose with ripe, juicy dark fruit plus plenty of oak influence. It is perhaps a bit more fruit forward than some examples of Petite Sirah but that makes it a nice entry point for people new to the variety. It also features some vanilla, licorice, cola and spice notes to round things out.
It ends dry and long with a touch of an earthy chocolate note at the very end. This is a nice, very low cost example of Petite Sirah.
