Bodega Cruzat, one of the premier sparkling wine producers in Argentina, is back with a new Insider Deal on their Cruzat Premier Brut, made from extremely high-altitude vines in Perdriel, Lujan de Cuyo, Mendoza.

Today's Brut, which is a white sparkler and not a rosé, is a blend of 60% Pinot Noir and 40% Chardonnay, again from those high-altitude vines, some of which even reach over 4,600 feet! Like the rosé, the Premier Brut we are offering here was made the same way as Champagne, using the traditional method where the secondary fermentation that creates the bubbles happens in the bottle. And while Champagne can be great, the price is almost always not. Lucky for us, you don't have to go to France and pay crazy prices to get a high-quality sparkling wine.
The Bodega Cruzat Premier Brut is aged 12 months on lees and an additional 12 months in bottle prior to disgorgement (the final step in the sparkling winemaking process). It has 8.3 g/L of residual sugar.
The wine also has a long line of 90+ scores including 92 from Tim Atkin and 91 from Beverage Testing Institute. And even better, we've even been able to get the price all the way down to just $12 a bottle! (This even cheaper than the rosé we previously offered which was $14.)

Pedro Rosell is Argentina’s King of Bubbles – he and his team strive to create the country’s most expressive, sophisticated sparkling wines.
The winery is located in the old winemaking region of Perdriel, south of the Mendoza River, at the foot of the Cordon del Plata mountain range.
All wines are made from high elevation estate Pinot Noir and Chardonnay vines, many of which sit at an unbelievable 4,600+ feet. Dosage is low across the board, resulting in verve/tension levels that truly rare in this part of the world.
Cruzat’s flagship wine, this is sourced from estate grown Pinot Noir and Chardonnay vines mostly at 3,400 foot elevation in Perdriel.
Tasting Notes: Fresh, with persistent citrus and floral notes over a foundation of toasty tropical fruit flavors. Bright acidity holds everything together well. Surprisingly good with Vietnamese fare, especially nuoc cham drenched salads!

The Bodega Cruzat Premier Brut opens with a welcoming aroma of green apple, pear and citrus with a little bit of a pleasing pastry note.
This sparkling wine tastes crisp, fresh and fruity with tons of bubbles and good acidity. It makes a great palate cleanser or pairing for fatty/salty snacks. With good balance and just a touch of sweetness, this is quite satisfying.
It ends dry, crisp, clean and long. Highly Recommended!
