100% Syrah with a medium body and medium acidity. Black plum, milk chocolate, and black licorice highlight the nose with flavors of red and black berries and spice. The finish is sweet and savory with a touch of grip. Destemmed, stainless steel fermented, and aged for 18 months.

And now on to our review:

The 2020 Slope Life Hometown Red Syrah opens with an enticing aroma of blackberry, plum, spice and dark chocolate with touches of black licorice, mint and more. It’s a very nice start.

Taking a sip reveals that this is quite a tasty rendition of Syrah with a lot of crowd appeal. It features similar flavors to the nose and is soft and smooth with good depth, balance and well-integrated spice. It’s really hard not to like this.

It ends dry, soft, long and easy to drink and was just as good on day 2. This is really delicious!
