It's a new addition to the K Vine line at Costco - and a nice example of single vineyard Washington State Syrah for just 10 bucks. We review the Kirkland Signature K Vine Frenchman Hills Vineyard Syrah.
This was a nice treat to see when we were perusing the wine aisle at Costco recently - a new entry into the Kirkland Signature K Vine line of wines made by Charles Smith. And while there's almost no info available on this wine, we do know that it is a single vineyard Syrah from the Frenchman Hills Vineyard in the Royal Slope AVA in the Columbia Valley of Washington State.
The Kirkland Signature K Vine Syrah is available exclusively at Costco for just $9.99.
By our count, this makes 4 k Vine wines now available at Costco. The K Vine Cabernet, the K Vine Chardonnay, the K Vine Rosé and now this Syrah. Let's see how it measures up!

The 2021 Kirkland Signature K Vine Frenchman Hills Vineyard Syrah opens with a very pleasing aroma of dark berry fruit, black pepper and a little smoked meat plus some mint and other assorted spices.
The wine tastes rather meaty just like it should and features a smooth mouthfeel and similar flavors to the nose with juicy fruit in the mouth. It gets better as it has some air so be sure to give it plenty of time to breathe.
It ends dry and long and was similar on day 2. This is really quite good for just $10 and a really nice example of Syrah.
