The 2016 Little Vineyards Band Blend Live begins with a pleasing aroma of raspberry, cola and vanilla along with a slight bit of earthy spiciness. The wine tastes smooth, soft and medium-bodied with ripe plum, blackberry and nicely integrated spice. It has some light dried herbal notes as well. It ends with a burst of spice, sweet fruit notes and a bit of lingering earthiness on the medium-long finish.
This is quite a tasty blend with the Teroldego adding an interesting and fruity twist. It reminded me a little bit of a nice Beaujolais which makes this a prime bottle for your upcoming Christmas meal!
