The 2021 Lloyd Cellars Prescription Cabernet Sauvignon opens with a very attractive, cohesive aroma full of luscious blackberry and black cherry with touches of licorice, baking spice, black olives and more.

The wine tastes smooth with plenty of firm tannins throughout and features similar flavors to the nose with lots of delicious juicy fruit plus good structure and acidity. With great depth and drinkability, this is a really nice example of Cabernet.

It ends dry, juicy, grippy and long on the satisfying finish and it was even slightly better on day 2. We put this at the high end of our 9 Taste Rating at 92-93 points, making this a splurgeworthy choice!
