From the bottle:

The Mohua, also known as the Yellowhead, is a small, colourful bird that can only be found in the pristine and majestic forests of New Zealand’s South Island.

Once abundant, they are now classified as an endangered species, surviving in only a few remote areas.

Your support and enjoyment of this wine allows us to fund conservation projects that will directly enhance their chances of survival.

The 2019 Mohua Sauvignon Blanc opens with a typical and nicely done Sauvignon Blanc aroma of tropical fruit, a bit of grassiness, lemon and more.

Taking a sip reveals quite a luscious and tasty wine full of zesty apple, lemon, lime and other citrus fruits plus nice touches of tropical fruit and good acidity. Very refreshing, this is a solid buy at this price.

It ends with a dry, crisp finish. This is a quite quaffable stuff!
