Sonoma County is a geographic symphony of mountains, hills and coastline with rich terrain that allows the region’s wine growers to produce wine with as much depth and complexity as the land it comes from. These Peaks & Tides create a unique microclimate perfectly suited for growing Cabernet Sauvignon grapes.
Our Cabernet Sauvignon captures the essence of Sonoma County with aromas of dried cranberries, pomegranate, and a hint of vanilla. The rich, silky texture coats the palate with layers of black cherries and a touch of cedar from fine French oak tannins.
Pairs well with beef short ribs and roasted lamb.

The 2021 Peaks & Tides Cabernet Sauvignon begins with a very enticing aroma of black cherry, blackberry, plum, spice, licorice, cedar and a little vanilla. This is certainly starting off well. It also smells like this vintage may have a bit more oak influence than previous vintages we have reviewed.
The wine tastes smooth with lots of rich, juicy dark fruit, well-integrated spice and lots of cola. With good balance and touches of licorice, vanilla and oak, this is a classic Cab, done really well, especially for the price.
Some oaky spice leads into the dry, long finish. It was similar on day 2.
Overall it is more cohesive and has a bit better depth than the last vintage we tried, which pushes its taste rating up a notch.
