Dry Creek Valley has a great pedigree for growing and developing great fruit characteristics as well as bright acidity in Sauvignon Blanc. We sourced two vineyards for this vintage: our estate vineyards as well as Kay Wood’s. Each vineyard’s microclimate combines sun, soil, and fog to retain ripe fruit and crisp flavor. Add these components to the special care and attention from the vineyard crew and the resulting wine is a wonderful reflection of terroir — wherein the sum is greater than the parts.

The 2019 Pedroncelli East Side Vineyards Sauvignon Blanc opens with loads of lemon and citrus goodness. Touches of melon and tropical fruit plus some well placed herbal notes round it out and make for a very enticing start.
Beautifully structured and harmonious with rich, sweet tasting fruit plus a wonderful mouthfeel plus wonderful bits of herbal notes plus good acidity plus touches of salty minerality, this one has it all! Uber delicious and easily quaffable this wine has plenty of complexity too which is not an easy feat to pull off.
It ends dry, refreshing and very long on the delicious finish. We can't go quite as high as 98 points but this easily gets a Bulk Buy rating.
