From the bottle:
Raeburn hails from the Russian River Valley in west Sonoma County. Its name originates from Olde English meaning "The Stream Where One Drinks" - apropos for a wine crafted in this unique watershed which provides habitat for grapes and creatures alike. This cool, marine-influenced region is perfectly suited to exceptionally flavored Chardonnay. Fresh layers of green apple and pear are accented by a creamy richness due to Sur Lie aging.
"A glass of Raeburn Chardonnay is the start to a beautiful friendship" - Derek Benham, Owner

The 2014 Raeburn Russian River Valley Chardonnay begins with very pleasant aromas of pear, vanilla cream, green apple and a touch of baking spice. Tasting the wine reveals it to be soft, smooth and almost luxurious in the mouth. Chocked full of slightly sweet apple and pineapple flavors toasted with hints of nuts, caramel and vanilla, this wine is really easy to drink and very satisfying. You're going to need several bottles if you're entertaining Chardonnay lovers. The wines ends with lingering pineapple and oak on the satisfying finish.
