First up we've got the 2019 Cross Springs Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon, which is 90% Cabernet and 10% Petite Sirah. The wine was aged in French and American oak for 6 months and 5,833 cases were produced.

The grapes used to produce our 2019 Cross Springs Cabernet Sauvignon were picked from several hillside vineyards to help create an elegant multi-layered wine with great complexity. The wine was aged on French and American oak to give a richness and balance with the soft fruit forward character.

The 2019 Cross Springs Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon from Shannon Ridge begins with a nicely aromatic and attractive nose full of black cherry, blackberry, licorice, some nice baking spice and a touch of dried herbs.
Taking a sip reveals a very smooth wine with plenty of tasty fruit and good depth of flavor. Those flavors are similar to the nose and combine quite nicely in the mouth.
It ends dry with just a touch of tannins on the long finish. Really easy to drink, this is a well-rounded Cab with wide appeal. It makes a great daily drinker option.
2019 CROSS SPRINGS VINEYARD CABERNET SAUVIGNON

Next we've got the 2019 Shannon Ranch Cabernet Sauvignon, which is 76% Cabernet, 17% Merlot and 7% Sangiovese. The wine has no residual sugar.

Lush dark cherries, fresh plums, coffee, and almonds on the nose; with a mouth full of red cherry and plum fruits, sweet tobacco and milk chocolate notes on the lingering, full bodied finish.

The 2019 Shannon Ranch Cabernet Sauvignon from Shannon Ridge begins with a very pleasing aroma of black cherry, plum and a little coffee.
Taking a sip reveals similar flavors plus a little oaky spice, lots of licorice and cola and a little chocolate too. With 76% Cabernet it is almost more a blend than a Cab but either way this is very nice and very drinkable.
It ends dry and long on the finish. This is another great daily drinker option!
