The Spellbound Petite Sirah hails from California and was aged in a combination of French and American oak. The wine has 5 g/L of residual sugar.

The 2017 Spellbound Petite Sirah begins with an attractive aroma of blackberry and other dark berry fruits along with nice touches of vanilla, baking spice and coffee.
Taking a sip reveals a smooth, easy drinking Petite Sirah with lots of pleasing, sweet and jammy fruit flavors. It's not quite as big of a wine as you often find in this variety which makes it very approachable. This is a fruity and fun one.
Drying tannins lead into the long finish featuring nice hints of spice. Uncomplicated (it's even a screwcap) and super easy to drink, this is a great wine to have on hand. It gets even better with some air so don't be afraid to give it some time to breathe.
