One reason for this might be the incredible soils the vineyard is planted in. The winery notes:
This vineyard is located on the oldest alluvial terrace in the coastal part of the Limarí Valley. It was the first to form and has very special characteristics that make it particularly suitable for producing high-end wines. In the coastal area where this vineyard is located (24km from the sea), the alluvial terrace reveals different levels of clay at the surface. This gives way to a matrix of alluvial soil (volcanic rock which was rounded by erosion as it was carried many kilometres from high up in the mountains). This soil is very stony but has veins of limestone in the form of dust, mainly consisting of calcium carbonate. The limestone rocks in the high peaks of the Andes Mountains were dragged by melting ice to the lower parts of the valley and deposited there as dust mixed with alluvial soil. This phenomenon is what marks the Limarí Valley as immediately different from Chile’s other wine regions, as limestone produces refreshing, mineral wines in a style quite different from the rest of the country.

From the winery:
Production and Ageing: Every single task in the vineyard, from pruning to harvesting, is carefully supervised by our viticultural and winemaking team in order to produce the best quality fruit possible. The grapes were hand-harvested into 20kg-bins to avoid any damage to the fruit. The harvest began in the first week in April, when this variety had reached the optimum phenolic ripeness. The clusters were later very carefully selected, then destemmed and selected one last time. Then they were subject to a cold soak for 8 days at 8°C, before continuing on to the alcoholic fermentation in small stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Next came a second maceration, lasting 3 days. 100% of this wine was aged in French oak barrels for 12 months.
Tasting Notes: Intense red in colour, this wine has an elegant nose, with upfront notes of spices, tobacco leaves, black fruit and graphite. In the mouth, the tannins are firm and juicy, lending the wine great structure, persistence and complexity.

The 2018 Tabali Vetas Blancas Cabernet Franc opens with a very inviting aroma of dark fruit, spice, some green pepper and minty herbal notes, a little cigar box, and more.
Taking a sip reveals a smooth, slightly tannic and very tasty Cabernet Franc with good balance and structure. It features similar flavors to the nose with the fruit being a bit juicy in the mouth. Light green notes which are common to this variety and region are integrated nicely and add to the character of the wine.
It ends dry, a bit grippy and quite long. We can’t quite get as high as 96 points but this is very nice! It was similar on day 2.
