The Show Cabernet Sauvignon - big, brash and irresistibly good.
Cabernet Sauvignon from California. I couldn't find information on the current vintage but previous vintages also have a small amount of and Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petite Sirah. The wine is aged in French and American oak and has residual sugar of 2 grams/Liter.
The Show Cabernet Sauvignon has an SRP of $15 and is available for as low as $13. Sample submitted for review.

What you have here is a pure, unapologetic expression of California Cabernet Sauvignon. Sourced from the hit list of premiere California wine regions - it's a Show stopper. Aromas and flavors of cassis, toasty oak, sweet fruit and chocolate, followed by a lingering finish.

Who doesn't love a good Cabernet? Unfortunately, prices for California Cabs can be off the chart and the quality under $20 can be all over the board. It's always a pleasure to find an easily available example that delivers a great experience well under $20. That's exactly what we have today.
The 2014 The Show Cabernet Sauvignon begins with a big, aromatic and very pleasing nose of violets, plum, vanilla, blackberry, prunes, and spice. Tasting the wine reveals it to be smooth, tasty and very flavorful with lots of jammy dark fruit soaked in vanilla and more spice notes. It's big, brash and somehow very American and you can't help but like it. It ends with lingering dark fruit, spice and vanilla on the long, dry finish.
