Wine in a can is hot! And why not when you consider the convenience? Today we’re featuring two brand new options to the market that are both priced at $19.99 for four 375ml cans or $4.99 per can (the equivalent of $10 for a normal 750ml bottle of wine).
First up is the Tiamo Organic White, fermented in stainless steel. This wine does not see any oak.

Tiamo is a line of superb, Italian wines made from organic grapes. We search far and wide for top vineyards in notable Italian regions, allowing us to produce wines with unique character and style true to their origin. This elegant white wine has lovely bright crispness to it, but also charming fresh fruit flavors of apricots and peaches. Perfect to drink as an aperitif or with seafood, pasta or cheese.
12% Alcohol
The Tiamo Organic White begins with a pleasing aroma of peach, flowers, green apple and pear. Of course you’ll need to pour it into a glass to get the full experience of the nose but I found myself enjoying it mightily straight from the can as well. The wine tastes fresh, crisp and delicious — you would never know it came from a can if tasting it blind. All the flavors from the nose carry over with a nice tartness in the mouth and resolve into quite a refreshing finish. This is not only a really nice example of Grillo but it also does everything you would expect a wine in a can to do to be considered a success.

Next up is Tiamo Organic Rosé made from the Montepulciano grape.

The Tiamo Organic Rosé begins with a fresh, enticing aroma of strawberries and flowers. Tasting the wine reveals a dry, fruity rosé full of freshness. (Are you sensing a theme in these two wines?) Nice berry fruit notes with a touch of sea salt lead into the crisp, refreshing finish. Another winning wine, no matter the package!
