The 2016 Trader Joe's Reserve Wahluke Slope Columbia Valley Cabernet Sauvignon Lot 189 begins with a ton of vanilla on the nose. In fact, there's just a lot of oak influence in this wine with caramel, chocolate and licorice aromas as well.

Tasting reveals a soft, smooth mouthfeel plus sweet, dark fruit with a little spice too, but mainly this is a vanilla bomb. If you enjoy a lot of oak influence in your Cab this will be right up your alley. It ends with a dry, oaky finish of lingering sweet fruit with a bit of earthiness underneath.
