The 2024 Trader Joe’s Reserve Napa Valley Rosé Lot #270 opens with quite an attractive aroma of cherry and other berry fruit plus some citrus notes, a touch of tropical fruit and a little sea salt. It’s a good start.

The wine tastes rich, flavorful and juicy with similar flavors to the nose – this is just delightful. In true Trader Joe’s form there’s no indication of the grapes but this is really pleasing stuff, whatever it is.

It ends crisp, dry, and a bit tart on the lip-smacking finish with just a touch of that sea salt from the nose lingering.
