The 2013 Trapiche Medalla Malbec begins with a beautiful aroma of black cherry, plum, spice and a touch of smoked meat. The wine tastes simply luscious. Rich, dark fruit and deeply integrated spice combine with a smooth, savory texture in this full-bodied delight. Hints of minerality lead into the dry, long-lasting finish featuring vanilla, more dark fruit and the return of those smoked meat notes from the nose. Fantastic!
