Everything starts in vineyards located in Caucete district, 650 metres above sea level, in a soil of alluvial origin with texture from sandy loam to clay loam and low content of organic matter. My grapes are hand-harvested and immediately sent for winemaking process in order to keep the optimum conditions. Before travelling around the world to meet you, I partly rest for 3 months in company with French and American oaks.

The 2018 Tussock Jumper Malbec opens with very pleasing aromas of fresh black cherry and blackberry along with nice touches of spice and vanilla. The wine tastes smooth and rich and is full fresh fruit like blackberry, black cherry and raspberry. The excellent touches of spice from the nose also re-appear in the mouth. Streaks of cola and licorice emerge mid-palate and lead into the dry, long finish that even features a bit of minerality and lingering hints of coffee. This is an excellent example of Malbec for the low price.
