A nice, inexpensive Cotes du Rhone from Trader Joe's, we review the Vignobles de la Vallee du Rhone Collection Rhone.
A red blend of 55% Grenache, 30% Carignan and 15% Syrah from Cotes du Rhone, France.
This wine is available exclusively at Trader Joe's and sells for just $6.99. It is imported by Wine Wine Situation.
We carefully select the best parcels on terraces between 90 and 160 meter in altitude. A soil formed with river rocks, sandstone, flint mixed with limestone and clay below, brings to our wines mineral and refined notes.

Elegant, delicate bouquet. Soft and rich on the palate. The tannin is discreet and melts in the mouth.14% Alcohol
The 2020 Vignobles de la Vallee du Rhone Collection Rhone Cotes du Rhone opens a bit subdued on the nose, but a bit of time in the glass reveals mostly dark fruit with a bit of a yeasty, barrel room-like note and a touch of peppery spice.
The wine tastes smooth, uncomplicated and easy to drink. It features similar flavors to the nose with mostly dark fruit and perhaps a touch of an earthy, mineral note. This is a good bottle for the low price but nothing that will blow your socks off.
It ends dry and with decent length
