Beautifully hand illustrated, created by a sommelier (and reviewed by some of the top somms in the world), these extremely high quality puzzles are not only beautiful but educational as well.
I have to say that when Water & Wines first reached out with a few pictures and the concept behind these puzzles, I thought it was too good to be true. After giving the Spain, Italy, France and South Africa puzzles a try (California, Portugal, Germany and a Scottish whisky puzzle are now available as well) I think they might even better than advertised, especially with our big discount.
The first thing you'll notice about these puzzles is not only the beautiful pictures on the front of the box, but also the velvety finish of the boxes themselves. That velvety finish continues on the actual pieces of this puzzle adding a luxurious touch.
The attention to detail here is incredible, with each countries respective wine regions laid out along with the primary grape varieties.
Learning about a wine region has never been so much fun. We highly recommend pairing these puzzles with some new wines (or old favorites) from the region you're working on.
