From the bottle:
Our family estate vineyard stands alone and apart as the southernmost site in the Paso Robles region, tucked beneath the peaks of the coastal mountains just 14 miles from the Pacific Ocean. Here, the Sauvignon Blanc grape excels amid a long, marine-influenced growing season, achieving a crisp, bright character. We also incorporate Sauvignon Blanc fruit from select vineyards in Paso Robles, bringing added dimension and complexity to the final blend.
The 2022 Sauvignon Blanc presents lively flavors of grapefruit, gooseberry and guava that unfold into a brisk, refreshing finish. Enjoy this wine with crab crakes, seared scallops, fresh oysters and grilled citrus chicken.

The 2022 Ancient Peaks Sauvignon Blanc opens with pleasing aromas of tropical fruit, lime and a little honeysuckle. It’s a nice, non-grassy start.
The wine tastes flavorful and easy to drink. It features similar characteristics to the nose with lots of lemon as well in the mouth and is quite refreshing with good acidity. With just a bit of chalky minerality and a hint of grassiness in the mouth, this is definitely not from New Zealand.
It ends dry, crisp and tasty.
