Sourced from heirloom plantings, Artezin Old Vine Zinfandel is an artisanal wine handcrafted from sustainably farmed, multi-generational family vineyards throughout Mendocino County, where classic Zinfandel was introduced by Italian immigrants more than a century ago. This Zinfandel offers notable varietal aromas of raspberry and boysenberry with notes of spice and black pepper. Grilled meats, hearty stews and zesty cheeses are a perfect pairing. Enjoy!

The 2017 Artezin Mendocino Old Vine Zinfandel begins with a harmonious aroma of cherry, cranberry, raspberry, strawberry, vanilla and cinnamon. The wine tastes smooth, rich and savory with well integrated spice, pepper and vanilla notes under the abundance of ripe, juicy fruit. Soft tannins, dried herbal notes and even a bit of licorice and cola all lead into the long, dry finish of lingering vanilla and spice. This is a fabulous wine at this low price and would make a great complement to any tomato based BBQ sauce.
