The definition of fresh. A great wine for seafood and the classic Spanish dish of paella, we review the Beronia Rueda Verdejo.
100% Verdejo from Rueda DOC, Spain. The wine is fermented in a combination of stainless steel and concrete and has less than 2 g/L of residual sugar. It is also vegan friendly.

From the bottle:
Born among friends, to be shared among friends.
Bright, pale yellow color with hints of green. An intense and crisp nose with aromas of ripe stone fruits, aromatic herbs and floral touches and fennel. Full, fruity and dry on the mouth with a long finish. This wine has balanced acidity which is characteristic of the Verdejo variety.
13.5% Alcohol
The 2020 Beronia Rueda Verdejo opens with a pleasing aroma of lemon and other citrus notes along with white peach and nice touches of herbs.
Taking a sip reveals a fresh, tasty and delightful wine. In fact, I'm not sure if it's possible to get a fresher tasting wine than this! It features plenty of depth on the fruit (which turns a bit more tropical in the mouth) with no residual sugar, a smooth and lively mouthfeel and just a touch of salty minerality.
This wine will go great with seafood and as we noted above, it also goes wonderfully with paella. We paired it with (and used it as an ingredient in) our yummy chorizo and calamari paella.
The wine turns a bit tangy on the dry, crisp and long finish. The definition of fresh, this is just lovely.
