The 2018 Butternut Chardonnay begins with buttery, candied fruit aromas plus pear, citrus, vanilla cream and a little tropical fruit. You can tell right away this is going to be a good one for the oaked Chard crowd.

The wine tastes smooth and creamy and features similar flavors to the nose with a bit of a nutty note as well. Just as we expected, this is quite delicious for those who like a bit more of the buttery style although it doesn’t go overboard in that regard either.

It ends dry and long with some lingering toasty notes and a bit of butterscotch. This is tasty stuff.
