The 2014 Cannonball Cabernet Sauvignon begins with a very pleasant aroma of plum, chocolate and pepper along with secondary notes of blackberry and licorice. Tasting the wine reveals it to be a juicy crowd-pleaser! Ripe black cherry, plum, blackberry and strawberry fruit lead the way with excellent dusty spice, pepper, vanilla, chocolate and licorice notes adding support. With smooth tannins and good balance, this is a great full-bodied Cabernet. It ends dry with long-lasting sweet, tart fruit and lots of lingering chocolate, vanilla and coffee. We love finding great value Cabs and this one definitely fits the bill!
