....drink quality wine in a can. Estate vineyard wine in an ultra convenient format from Tangent Wines.
We've discussed a lot recently about our growing admiration for canned wine and today we've got two more quality examples to add to the list!
Samples submitted for review. Both wines have an SRP of $8 per 375ml can (half a traditional 750ml bottle) and can be found for as low as $6.
First up is the Tangent Sauvignon Blanc from the Paragon Estate vineyard in Edna Valley, California. The wine is fermented in stainless steel and does not spend any time in oak.
Fresh. Crisp. Vibrant.
SIP Certified Sustainable
13.5% Alcohol
The 2016 Tangent Sauvignon Blanc wine in a can begins with a very attractive aroma of lemongrass, lime, melon, honeysuckle and more. The wine tastes crisp and tangy. This is a really nice, flavorful Sauvignon Blanc. It features similar flavors to the nose that are soft and round in the mouth. Streaks of minerality lead into the dry, crisp finish. This is another great choice from the can!

Next up is the Tangent Rosé, a blend of Albarino, Viognier, Pinot Noir, Syrah and Grenache from the Paragon Estate vineyard in Edna Valley, California. The wine is fermented in stainless steel. 12.9% Alcohol.
The 2016 Tangent Rosé wine in a can has lots of different aromas to discover - apple, banana, a little berry, a touch of tropical fruit and more. Smooth and round in the mouth, this is an easy one to drink and I imagine the can would be gone in no time. It features similar flavors to the nose with more berry in the mouth. It ends tart and tangy with good length. This is an interesting blend that works quite well and another canned wine worthy of your consideration.
