Over 3000 hours of sunshine a year go into ensuring the perfect grapes for this splendid Provence rosé. Nestled in the hills of Provence, the vineyards are sheltered by acres of pine forest and lavender fields. The grapes enjoy the cooler Provence nights which slow their ripening and help produce this Provencal classic.
12.5% Alcohol
The 2018 Chateau de Berne Inspiration Rosé begins with a balanced, pleasing aroma of berries, flowers and herbs. Taking a sip reveals a really delicious dry rosé with lots of rich and savory fruit flavors like strawberry, cherry and watermelon. It also features excellent touches of herbs and minerals. It ends with a crisp, dry and long lip-smacking finish. You'll find it pretty hard not to be inspired to take another sip.
The distinctive bottle made me a little worried that the wine itself may not be up to par but that is far from the case here. Enjoyable any time of the year.
