The 2020 Chronic Cellars Purple Paradise begins with a very intriguing nose with lots of different components like boysenberry, bramble, black cherry, spice, smoke, mint and more.
Tasting the wine reveals lots of jammy fruit gently infused with spice and a smooth, wonderful mouthfeel. It also features excellent savory dried herbal notes under the fruit. And it just keeps getting better as it has more air, so sip it slowly and enjoy the evolution.
It ends with a fantastic, dry and very long finish of lingering chocolate and vanilla. It was just as good on day two. Spicy, jammy, delicious and fun, this is a BULK BUY again!
