The 2018 Jeff Runquist 1448 Red Blend begins with a very attractive aroma of vanilla and baking spice along with dark berry fruit and floral notes. Taking a sip reveals that there is lots and lots of juicy fruit in this one! Soft, smooth, nicely balanced and easy to drink this is really quite delicious, with continued vanilla and baking spice notes. It ends dry and long. This is quite the gem, combining the two of my favorite underdog grapes.
