“Six Ridges” celebrates the unique character of Sonoma County’s best wine regions. These wines are named in honor of the mountain ridges that border our vineyards and create the distinctive terroirs.
The Russian River Valley forms where the river breaks through the coastal mountain range, creating a passage for cool sea breezes and fog which the valley is known for. Delicate Pinot Noir grapes thrive in these conditions, exhibiting lush berry notes and well-integrated tannins.
14.5% Alcohol
The 2017 Kenwood Vineyards Six Ridges Russian River Valley Pinot Noir begins with an enticing aroma of full of strawberry and red cherry along with cola, a little wet earth and some pepper. All these flavors reappear when tasting and are deliciously combined with plenty of spice, a smooth texture and good acidity. This is a really excellent example of Pinot Noir that works well with food or on its own. It ends dry and long with lots of lasting ripe, juicy fruit along with more spice, cola and lingering touches of tobacco and coffee. Delicious!
