The non-vintage La Vieille Ferme Reserve Brut sparkling wine begins with a pleasing, classic aroma of apple, pear, a little tropical fruit and lemon plus a touch of fresh baked bread.
Taking a sip reveals this to be crisp, bright and tasty stuff. With plenty of fine bubbles, plenty of acidity and good depth on the fruit this is quite nice. The flavors lean more towards zesty lemon in the mouth.
It ends crisp, dry and quite long. Very good!
