The Right Bank stands amongst our highest elevation vineyards on a Southern aspect. The vineyard is planted entirely to Pommard clone Pinot Noir. The intensity of the summer sun and a long growing season create a Pinot Noir that can be characterized as robust with some muscle.
Not for the faint of heart, the Right Bank drinks beautifully alone and is a perfect complement to savory pairings from the grill.

The 2015 Left Coast Estate Right Bank Pinot Noir begins with a very pleasing aroma of strawberry, black cherry and mint plus some nice earthiness and notes of dried herbs and cedar. The wine tastes smooth, rich and round in the mouth and is super easy to drink yet still has good complexity. Well integrated touches of spice become most pronounced on the mid-palate. With great balance and structure, everything just flows together nicely on this wine. It ends dry and long with lingering cola, licorice, plum and black cherry. This is really excellent Pinot!
