Just 200 cases of the 2018 Marshall Davis Seven Hills Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon were produced. The wine went through an extended maceration on the grape skins (6 days) and was aged for 18 months in French oak. The result is nothing short of spectacular.
And while Walla Walla certainly has a wonderful reputation, you don’t pay the same premium as you do in Napa Valley, which means even the $40 SRP is rather reasonably priced. But, of course, you won’t pay anywhere near that price for the next day…

The 2018 Marshall Davis Seven Hills Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon begins with deep and layered aromas of dark berry fruit, spice and vanilla. It's an absolutely fantastic start.
The wine tastes darn delicious. Smooth and wonderfully balanced, it's just the right amount juicy and just the right amount spicy. This is really well done.
Wonderful spice and vanilla notes flow seamlessly into the dry, slightly grippy, very, very long and lasting finish. (What a finish!) This is a fantastic Washington Cab.
The previous vintage of this wine received 94 points from Anthony Dias Blue and while the 2018 doesn't have any outside ratings yet, we easily put it in that same category. Enjoy!
