Member's Mark Asolo Prosecco - Budget Bubbly

Prosecco made from 85% Glera and 15% Blanchetta, Perera and Boschera (indigenous white varieties) from Asolo, Veneto, Italy.

Sample submitted for review. This sparkling wine is available exclusively at Sam’s Club and sells for just $7.98. Imported by World Spirits, LTD.

From the winery:

Member’s Mark ASOLO-PROSECCO D.O.C.G. is a sparkling white wine that originates in the prestigious Asolo appellation of Italy. This white wine is made from the finest quality grapes harvested from ancient vineyards on the hills that border the medieval town of Asolo. The vineyards receive excellent sun exposure, are in a mild temperature climate and grow in a fertile soil blend to add significant character to the grapes.

11% Alcohol

The non-vintage Member’s Mark Asolo Prosecco begins with a pleasing aroma of pear, apple and lemon plus a touch of yeast and honey.

Tasting reveals a nice dry, budget bubbly. With plenty of fresh fruit similar to the nose and tons of fine bubbles this is quite refreshing. It’s definitely a solid buy for just $8. It would be great for mimosas too. It ends with a dry, crisp, medium-length finish.
