This dry, light-bodied wine opens with an aromatic bouquet of floral and citrus notes. The palate is lively, with apples and a hint of pastry joining citrus fruits. A fine mousse is balanced by bright acidity, carrying into a wonderfully refreshing finish. Serving in a flute glass will really bring out this Prosecco’s perfumes and flavors.
Food Pairing: Our Member’s Mark Asolo Prosecco is easy-drinking and quite food-friendly. The non-vintage Member’s Mark Asolo Prosecco Superiore Brut begins with a pleasing aroma of pear, apple and lemon plus a touch of yeast and honey.
Tasting reveals a nice mostly dry, budget bubbly that is easy in all respects (cost, taste, availability, etc.) With plenty of fresh fruit similar to the nose and tons of fine bubbles this is quite refreshing. It’s definitely a solid buy for just $8.
It ends with a dry, crisp, medium-long, refreshing finish. It makes for a nice palate cleanser and would also be great for mimosas.
